Spice Up Your Life at our Ladies Night, with Special Guest Melanie C

Pop queen Melanie C will spice up the lives of Great Yarmouth racegoers this summer when she DJs a music event at on our very popular Ladies Night.

Melanie C has gone on to be a popular solo singer who has toured the world, and strutted the West End stage as an actress.

On Wednesday 18 July, she will host the after-racing entertainment – choosing and presenting tracks that will reflect the “girl power” of the annual Ladies Night fun, and her own favourite music.

So make sure you get glam and enjoy the sensation of this fantastic evening.

Great Yarmouth offers a relaxed atmosphere and is welcoming to all with plenty of facilities, including the modern grandstand, a children’s playground and expansive family lawns.

Children under 18 years old, enjoy free admission to all fixtures when accompanied by an adult. Free to park in our main car park.

Best Dressed Competition

Once again we will be offering £1,000 in cash prizes for the first 3 in our Best Dressed competition.

This is a free to enter competition so dress to impress and add that extra sparkle and glamour to this fantastic evening, and you could be one of the lucky ones to win on the night.

Final judging will be courtesy of our media partners, Heart Radio 102.4 in the Parade Ring.

The Silks Series

Great Yarmouth will once again offer a participating race valued at £10,000 in this fantastic scheme.

Launched across nine ARC racecourses in 2017, The Silk Series is a pioneering initiative that gives female jockeys opportunities across popular summer racedays, whilst raising funds and awareness for Cancer Research UK.

Arena Racing Company (‘ARC’) is delighted to announce a significant expansion of The Silk Series in 2018 to include races from Goodwood, Hamilton Park, Musselburgh and York Racecourses.

In 2018, The Silk Series will offer a total of £150,000 in prize money, with the £20,000 final once again taking place on Ladies Day of the William Hill St Leger Festival at Doncaster Racecourse on Thursday 13 September 2018. As in the inaugural year, jockeys taking part in The Silk Series will win points based on their finishing position in each race, with the winner having accrued the most points over the course of the thirteen races.

Tickets need to be booked in advance of the raceday to save yourself £3 off the gate price for an individual purchase and up to 14 in total in any one transaction.

For purchases of 15 or more tickets you will receive a discount of £4.50 per ticket (off the gate price) Please note, the group discount is only off Grandstand and Premier tickets.

The Trafalgar Restaurant* Package - £79.00 inc vat

Situated in the heart of the Lord Nelson Grandstand, the Trafalgar Restaurant offers you a first-class dining experience with a freshly prepared choice, three course dinner. Your experience will also include a premier ticket, raceday programme and your table for the duration of the event. Book early to avoid disappointment, call racecourse office to book.

Hospitality Packages* Prices start from £50 + vat

All private hospitality packages include the following: • Exclusive use of a Private Hospitality Box/Marquee with televised action from the course. • Premier hospitality admission ticket with access to all areas of the course • Betting facilities • Raceday programme • Private cash bar facility • Complimentary on-site parking • Minimum group size of 15 people, and a maximum of 200 people

Premier Badge Online

The Premier Enclosure offers all the facilities in the Grandstand Enclosure, plus entrance into the Lord Nelson Grandstand, access to the Trafalgar Restaurant, the Victory Bar with views over the race track, the Premier enclosure lawn and patio, Hoops Champagne Bar including a lawned area with garden furniture. The Premier enclosures dress code excludes ripped jeans, sportswear, jogging bottoms, beachwear, fancy dress or extreme attire. Tailored shorts, smart jeans and trainers are permitted. This advance on line price is £3 less than the gate price on the day.


Grandstand and Paddock e-ticket

Grandstand and Paddock enclosure includes a variety of food outlets, bars and betting kiosks, access to two grandstands with terraced viewing, parade ring and winner’s enclosure, family lawns and children’s adventure playground. Dress Code – There is no formal dress code in this enclosure, however, the removal of shirts is not permitted. e-tickets will be sent via email and need to be printed on A4 paper or shown from your email on your mobile phone to gain entry at either gates 1 or gate 11. If you are unable to print the tickets at home, please contact the racecourse office on 01493 842527. This advance on line price is £3 less than the gate price on the day.


The Pink Fizz Package

Round up the girls (and the boys!) and treat yourselves to our Pink Fizz Package which includes a Premier enclosure ticket, a fab glass of pink Prosecco and a race day programme. This package is limited and only available when booked in advance.


The Porthole Package

A great value for money package for a day at the races. The Porthole Package will give you admission to the Grandstand and Paddock enclosure, a raceday programme, a welcome drink, a hot pie (vegetarian alternative is available) and free parking. Advance bookings only.

For Premier and Hospitality enclosures we encourage customers to adopt ‘smart casual’ clothing. Jackets, collared shirts and ties are not obligatory but we do advise customers that we do not allow ripped jeans, sportswear, jogging bottoms, beachwear, fancy dress or extreme attire. Tailored shorts, smart jeans and trainers are permitted. In the Grandstand and Paddock enclosure there is no formal dress code, however, the removal of shirts is not permitted.
