Previewing Tuesday 21st of October’s meeting at Great Yarmouth are the Horse Racing experts at Freebets.com, the best place for betting sites.
The curtain comes down on another season at Great Yarmouth with a competitive card as always and first up is Fermain in the opener at 2:00. Trained by George Boughey and with Billy Loughnane in the saddle, this combo has a 17% strike rate when teaming up, and this filly was a good third on debut behind a useful winner at Chelmsford and can build on that promising debut.
It could be a quickfire double for Billy Loughnane who I also fancy to score in the following race at 2:35 aboard Ottoman Empress. Charlie Appleby’s filly finished second on debut at Newmarket a few weeks ago and this looks to be the strongest piece of form on offer. Bred for longer distances she should handle the predicted cut in the ground and go one better here.
In the 5f spring at 3:45, course and distance winner Cressida Wildes can go in again under top weight. Winning at the track in July over five when she faced similar conditions, she was then narrowly beaten on her last start at Bath, but she could be in the mix again and have enough to land the spoils at a decent price under Rossa Ryan.
