I have booked for a horse racing fixture in 2020 and racing is now taking place behind closed doors. What do I do?
We are asking our customers to support British racing by choosing to transfer your booking to an exciting day at the races in 2021. Every customer who has made a booking will receive an email with details on how to transfer - plus an extra incentive to encourage you to do so. Alternatively, you can of course request a full refund.
All customers should have received an email directly from the racecourse. Please check your junk folder and contact us if you haven’t received this.
How do I transfer my booking to 2021?
Firstly, thank you for choosing to support British racing by transferring your booking.
To transfer your booking, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your booking reference number and full name, indicating that you would like to transfer to 2021. Our 2021 fixtures are still being confirmed and we will be in touch once these have been announced so you can select the date you wish to join us in 2021
How do I get a refund?
To request a full refund, please email email@example.com with your booking reference number and full name, indicating that you would like a refund. Please be aware that refunds can take up to 28 days from the receipt of your request.
I'm an Annual Member. What happens to my membership?
We are sorry that we are unable to welcome you back racing in 2020.
As such, we will automatically transfer your membership so that it is valid for the entire 2021 season. This means, when crowds are allowed to return racing, you will not only be able to enjoy Great Yarmouth Racecourse’s 2021 fixtures but also access all 20 Arena Racing Company venues, and make use of every other benefit that comes with being an Annual Member. You will also receive a £30 food and drink voucher to use in 2021.
Furthermore, to extend another thank you for your ongoing support and patience, from 2021, all Annual Members will be invited to be part of the ARC Racing Syndicate completely free of charge, which will give you a fantastic opportunity to enter into the world of racehorse ownership. More details on the syndicate will be sent in the New Year.
Each Annual Member should have received a letter in the post directly from the racecourse. If you haven’t received this, please contact us directly.
I have booked a non-racing related event in 2020? Has this been cancelled?
Not necessarily. Different events are subject to different government Covid-19 guidance. We’d recommend contacting the event organisers or the racecourse directly to find out if and/or how the event has been affected.
I’m an event organiser and I’m now unsure whether my event can proceed. What can I do?
Please contact us to discuss your event, which we would be very happy to transfer or reschedule for 2021 if this is now unable to go ahead.
I’ve purchased a raceday experience package through a 3rd party company, what do I do?
If you have NOT yet redeemed your voucher, please contact the 3rd party company direct for guidance. (Find Buyagift and Red Letter Days here).

What happens if crowds are allowed to return before the end of the year?
In the event that crowds are allowed to return before the end of the year then we will be contacting our customers as soon as possible to let them know.
