Join us at Great Yarmouth Racecourse on Wednesday 16th September 2027 as The Eastern Festival continues with an afternoon of flat racing by the coast, featuring the John Musker Fillies' Stakes. It's a firm fixture in our September calendar and a great chance to enjoy quality racing up close.
The John Musker Fillies' Stakes is one of the highlights of The Eastern Festival. See the horses up close in the parade ring before finding your spot by the rail and hearing the hooves thunder towards the finish.
There's plenty for racing fans to get stuck into throughout the afternoon, with the John Musker taking centre stage.
The John Musker Fillies' Stakes brings together the cream of the crop. Watch as expert jockeys guide these outstanding horses through thrilling races, making it a must-see for both seasoned racing fans and newcomers alike.
From graceful gallops to nail-biting finishes, the fillies demonstrate the power and finesse that make flat racing so exhilarating. It's a unique opportunity to see some of the season's best female thoroughbreds in action, competing for glory on a stunning coastal track.
There's more happening away from the track too. Past Eastern Festival afternoons have included racing tips, live DJs and music, prize draws, jockey signings, competitions and a Hall of Fame celebrating names from the John Musker.
We'll be revealing what's lined up for 2027 soon.
Food and drink will also be available around the racecourse throughout the afternoon.
