- BBQ’s are not allowed at the racecourse for Health & Safety reasons, although we are happy for customers to bring a picnic. We have an area signed on the lawns to the front of the stands for this purpose. Bringing alcohol onto the premises is prohibited, although you can bring soft drinks with your picnics.
- What disabled facilities are there and are there any concessions?
- The course has been audited and is working towards compliance with the new disability act introduced in October 2004. There is a disabled toilet on every floor of the Lord Nelson Stand and to the rear of the middle grandstand by the catering concessions. There are two wheelchair-viewing areas alongside the running rail overlooking the track. Carers accompanying disabled racegoers are admitted free of charge.
- What is the dress code?
- Premier Enclosure: Smart Casual, no ripped or torn jeans, no football kit. Grandstand & Paddock: no dress code required.

- All Jockeys are listed in the Race Programme on the day (which can be purchased for £2.50 from 4 green kiosks around the course). The horses and Jockeys are declared to run by 10am the day before racing so the information is not available until then. - How do I find the racecourse?
- The racecourse is situated to the North of Great Yarmouth just before you reach Caister on Sea. It is sign posted with yellow AA signs from all directions (off the A12, A47 and A149). The main car park is off Freemantle Road and the hospitality car park is in the centre course.
