Welcome to Great Yarmouth Racecourse - a versatile leisure venue offering horse racing, a variety of public events and a wide range of corporate hospitality, advertising and venue hire opportunities.

In addition to superb corporate hospitality facilities on offer at all race meetings, the course also hosts a wide range of public events including antiques fayres, craft fayres and music concerts. The venue is also available for hire for anything from wedding receptions and private parties to exhibitions and product launches.

Great Yarmouth is a left-handed, oblong course of one mile five furlongs in circumference.

There is also a straight course, over which races of up to one mile can be run, popular particularly for two-year-olds. Ability to see the distance out thoroughly is most important.

DRAW

There is no strong evidence of a regular draw advantage at Great Yarmouth.

START POSITIONS

There are 2 one mile starts, one on the 1 mile straight and one on the 1 mile round course.

Stalls positions tend to remain the same on the Flat course:

• Races over the straight course (1m, 5f, 6f, 7f, 2m and 1m6f) on Stand Side
• Round course (1m, 1mf, 1m2f, 1m3f, 1m4f) on inside
