Great Yarmouth Racecourse & Conference Centre – a variety of suites and facilities to suit any event
Great Yarmouth Racecourse has a wide range of suites and facilities available to hire and offers a unique setting for your event.
The Lord Nelson Grandstand
The Lord Nelson Grandstand houses a large ground floor exhibition hall, the Vice Admiral Room, and two large banqueting halls or conference suites on the first floor, the Victory and Trafalgar Suites. These two rooms overlook the racecourse and lead out onto a patio and lawn area; a moveable partition between these rooms allows you to create one large suite. On the second floor there is a third conference suite, the Horatio Suite, plus eight Syndicate Rooms with private balconies that boast stunning views over the racecourse and out to sea.
Dimensions:
- Lower Floor - 1 x 400sqm hall.
- First Floor - 2 x 200sqm conference/banqueting rooms that can open into one large exhibition or banqueting hall.
- Second Floor - 8 x breakout rooms 29sqm each plus 1 x conference room 70sqm.
Centre of the Course
The Centre of the Course contains two large marquees, the Winning Post Marquee and the Celebration Marquee, and four private suites, the Breydon, Yare, Bure and Haven Suites, with ample parking, toilet facilities and a large lawn and patio area, making this a superb self-contained area for any event. There is also a large grass area, ideal for staging concerts or shows, with the spectators watching safely from the stands on the other side of the racecourse. A perfect location for all outdoor activities, including team building exercises.

- Bure Room - 40' x 22'
- Haven Room - 24' x 22'
All the above rooms are interconnecting to provide flexible arrangements.
Marquee Dimensions:
- The Winning Post Marquee - 90' x 30'
- The Celebration Marquee - 60' x 20'
The ‘Hoops’ Marquee
This self contained permanent marquee is the perfect location for a dinner dance, luncheon or banquet and houses its own kitchen and bar.
Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure
This enclosure houses two Grandstands, each with large bars, a tea room, vast lawn area and Children’s play ground. The grandstand steppings on both stands form the perfect structure for all spectator events.
Main Car Park
With ample room for over 2,000 cars, this area is perfect for staging an event that requires large volumes of parking or can be used for outdoor events, a camping site, horse show, fun fair or circus.
Stable Yard & Accommodation
Housing over 100 stables, which are available for rent to equine events that adhere to Jockey Club requirements. The hostel is a large accommodation building, comprising 15 twin-bedded rooms with toilet and shower facilities and can provide cost effective overnight group accommodation.
